Quality Care For Elders & Adults With Disabilities.
‘Cause every girl’s crazy about a sharp dressed man.
Adult Day Services are an important, cost-effective component of the long-term care system in Vermont. Adult Day is one of the primary community-based programs dedicated to the care of the elders and adults with disabilities, giving them a safe and supportive place to stay during the day.
Oxbow Senior Independence Program (OSIP) Adult Day Services care for men and women from Bradford, Corinth, Fairlee, Newbury, Ryegate, Thetford, Topsham, Wells River and other surrounding towns in Vermont, providing a much needed day program for families in need of respite. OSIP also invites participants from bordering communities in New Hampshire.
Participants who attend OSIP Adult Day Services enjoy many benefits. They receive care for their basic medical needs as well as health monitoring, advocacy and counseling. They socialize and reminisce with peers in a welcoming, stimulating and safe environment that includes art, crafts, music, exercise, games and outdoor activities. Our certified cooks provide hot, nourishing meals prepared on site to meet to their specific dietary requirements.
And they laugh a lot!
Elders and adults with disabilities may choose to attend from one to five days a week, or just part of a day. Attendance is individualized to suit every participant’s needs, depending on availability of space and transportation.
