About OSIP Adult Care Service

Our Mission

Our Mission is to promote optimal independence for adults living with challenging health issues. We strive to help each individual maintain or improve his or her present level of functioning as long as possible. We also provide support and respite for families and caregivers.

A flexible staff based on our participant’s needs, we are devoted individuals caring for up to 20 people each day.

Organization

Oxbow Senior Independence Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are staffed by RNs and LNAs and our cooks are certified through the Serve Safe program. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and participants can join full or part time. We accept Vermont Medicaid and private pay participants; we also welcome NH residents and accept private pay on a sliding scale fee arrangement.

Oxbow Senior Independence Program (OSIP) is a member of the Vermont Association of Adult Day Services (VAADS). We are currently one of twelve adult day services available throughout Vermont. Here is a full list of adult day service providers.

Funding

We rely on funding from individual private donors, local businesses, USDA meal subsidies, Medicaid reimbursements, and private pay.

We welcome donations in any amount to keep this vital program in our community.
